The mobility flows eligibility shall require the fulfillment of the following application procedures depending on the type of each mobility target groups.
For Master’s and Doctorate Students
- Applicant cannot apply for Master’s or Doctorate mobility at their prior institution of study.
- Applicants can select up to 3 host institutions, but they can only choose one course per host institution.
- Must be enrolled in a Master’s or Doctorate program at one of the partner institutions (Target Group I applicants only).
- Must have not resided nor have carried out your main activity (studies, work, etc) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of the host institution countries.
- Must fulfil all scholarship eligibility criteria.
- All mandatory documents must be attached to the online Application Form. Applications that are incomplete or have blank or unreadable documents will be disregarded.
- In addition to these criteria there may be others defined internally by each partner institution of the project. Before completing and submitting their application, it is strongly recommended that applicants liaise with the contact person(s) or the LOUs of their (choice) institution in order to obtain information about the specific eligibility criteria.
For Academic and Administrative Staff
- Agree together with the home and host universities on the programme of activities, namely including
- Lectures or administrative work to be delivered by the visiting staff;
- The research activities to be carried out;
- The type of training to be followed; etc.
- Must have not resided nor have carried out your main activity (studies, work, etc) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of the host institution countries.
- Must fulfil all scholarship eligibility criteria.
- Consider the mobility as a possible post-per-post exchange or a one-way visitor flow to or from an HEED-Africa partner institution’s countries.
- Base the mobility assignments on the partnership agreements and the sustainability strategy defined by the HEED-Africa project and the partnership members.
- All mandatory documents must be attached to the online Application Form. Applications that are incomplete or have blank or unreadable documents will be disregarded.
Documents to be Submitted
Applicants must complete and submit all the applicable sections of the online application form together with a digital copy of all the required/relevant documents. Candidates who fail to complete the application form and submit the required documents as specified above will immediately be excluded without any possibility of appeal. The following mandatory documents must be submitted in English language without any exceptions.
For All Applicants:
- Photo: A digital copy of your photo.
- Passport: A copy of formal identity passport issued by a national authority
- Curriculum Vitae: Applicant’s resume prepared in Europass format.
- Online Application Form: Submit completed application forms when a programme is open for applications.
- Diploma Certificate: Must have been issued by a higher education institution, dated, signed and stamped, otherwise it will not be considered valid and the application will be excluded.
- Transcript of Records: Verifiable transcript of academic records for degrees completed, stating in detail all courses taken and grades obtained in the course. Documents must be dated, signed and stamped by the institution, otherwise they will not be considered valid and the application will be immediately excluded.
- Motivation Letter: A statement of motivation indicating the mobility long-term benefits.
